Job description

Brillient Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager (SME/Data Modernization) to join its Team supporting a federal contract in Silver Spring, MD. This position requires U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card holder and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government public trust level security clearance. The candidate must have lived in the United States for at least three out of the past five years prior to your application date. You will also meet the residency qualifications if you lived abroad while on government or military duty or if you were a dependent of a federal employee of military member.

The Project Manager shall adopt an agile team-based approach where appropriate, resulting in customer-focused, accessible and sustainable processes to support the transformation of the Center's IT business processes and support operations to the new Digital Transformation Platform.

The Project Manager shall provide expert business, system and data analysis, application, data migration services and implementation services necessary for the oversight of performance.

Specific tasks shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Manage a single project or several unrelated projects

  • Plan and develop objectives and milestones for long range IT Projects

  • Develop and implement project management procedures, tools, templates and activities

  • Manage teams responsible for fulfilling the project and achieving its deliverables

  • Manage the project's day to day tasks including project scope, schedule and resources

  • Assemble and manage the project teams and their performance

  • Report status, risks and escalations to the Program Leadership

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholder(s) to meet project deliverables

  • Ensure that project related training and documentation are developed and made available

  • Follow established Project Management Office (PMO) standards and procedures

  • Ensure assigned projects are conducted in compliance with Agency standards and regulations (CPIC, EPLC, etc.)

  • Assist personnel to Manage Vendor deliverables

  • Create and manage any Statement of Works related to the project. This includes following CPIC/EPLC and IGCE requirements
