Job description

Who We Are:
We are a tech-enabled growth firm-at the intersection of marketing, consulting & data intelligence-igniting revenue and brand recognition for leading and emerging companies around the world. As a people-first firm, we value diversity in backgrounds and experiences. We strongly believe our people and culture are key to our success. Our vision is to be recognized as the most valued and respected private growth marketing firm in the world-with a scalable brand, culture and services. Our mission is to power the relentless pursuit of growth and redefine what's possible through a team of growth-obsessed experts who demand innovation and results - driven by integrity, autonomy, and grit.
As a full-service growth marketing firm, we offer best-in-class services including: SEO, Content Marketing, Paid Media, Social Media Marketing, Programmatic + CTV, Public Relations, Influencer Marketing, Email + SMS, Conversion Rate Optimization, Retail Marketing, and Creative. Here at Power Digital, we are hyper-focused on helping brands drive revenue growth and brand recognition, ultimately driving irrefutable value for our clients.
At the heart of Power Digital is our proprietary technology, nova, which analyzes businesses through first-party data, simplifying investment planning for marketing and diligence in M&A--putting marketers in a strategic seat at the table--and providing value in unparalleled ways.
Managing billions in media, our dynamic team--of consultative marketers, creatives, analysts and technologists--challenge traditional ways of planning and measurement through meticulous testing and data science across each milestone of the customer journey.
**We support 100% remote, in-office, or hybrid work styles for anyone legally eligible to work in the U.S.
A day in the life:
As an Associate Account Director, you will serve as the primary strategic partner for your clients on a day-to-day basis, owning the narrative around performance, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring all marketing efforts ladder up to business objectives. A successful candidate is a strong cross-channel marketer and communicator who can confidently translate data into insights, guide internal teams, and build trust with clients. This is a critical role in ensuring accounts are not only running efficiently, but driving meaningful business impact. As an Associate Account Director (AAD), you will act as the day-to-day strategic lead for CPG clients, ensuring marketing efforts are aligned to revenue growth across DTC, retail, and Amazon ecosystems-not just individual channel performance.
You will work closely with client stakeholders across eCommerce, retail, and brand teams, helping navigate tradeoffs between channels, product launches, and campaign strategy. This role requires comfort discussing channel mix, retail dynamics, Amazon performance, and omnichannel measurement. You'll partner with Project Managers to ensure execution stays on track, while collaborating with the Account Director to refine quarterly strategy and long-term growth plans.
Responsibilities:
  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
  • Lead weekly client calls on larger accounts; support PM-led calls on smaller accounts - own the performance narrative either way
  • Translate Power Circuit roadmap outputs into weekly account priorities; flag when execution is drifting from the strategy
  • Track performance across DTC, retail media, and Amazon ecosystems; identify cross-channel dynamics and surface insights to the client and AD
  • Coordinate paid, SEO, content, influencer, and creative teams around a unified account strategy
  • Advise on channel mix and investment allocation across DTC, retail, and Amazon; flag when channels are cannibalizing rather than reinforcing each other
  • Support the AD on quarterly strategy, renewal prep, and service expansion conversations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; contribute to ≥90% retention across your accounts
  • Work in Iris and nova daily; use performance data to surface issues before clients raise them; maintain Pulse cadence at 100%

Role Requirements:
  • 4-7 years in CPG, eCommerce, or retail marketing, with experience managing client relationships day-to-day
  • Familiar with the CPG channel landscape: DTC, retail media, and Amazon basics - ASIN architecture, sponsored vs. organic, retail partner dynamics
  • Understands omnichannel measurement at a working level - knows what MMM and incrementality testing are and when they matter
  • Cross-channel fluency across paid, SEO, content, and influencer - you don't need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to know when something's off
  • Comfortable presenting to director and VP-level stakeholders, including brand-strong clients who have opinions that predate the data
  • Strong written and verbal communication; can translate complex channel dynamics into a clear client narrative

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Expansion to Churn Ratio (ETCR)
  • Net MRR across portfolio
  • Client NPS (8+ avg)
  • Monthly Service Expansion pipeline generation
  • Power Circuit Certification (annual)

Most Important Things (MITs)
  • Team Coaching and Development
  • Marketing Strategy, Development and Execution
  • Client Retention and Client Revenue Growth

Benefits & Perks:
  • Base salary + commission opportunities
  • Robust Medical, Dental, Vision insurance plans with up to 100% employer contribution towards employee monthly premium
  • 401(k) plan - 4% employer contribution matching
  • Unlimited Time Off available on day one
  • Up to 4 hours per quarter for paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) towards philanthropic endeavors
  • Fully flex work environment: full-remote, in-office, or hybrid
  • A one time $100 USD Work From Home (WFH) stipend automatically added to your first paycheck
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • 12 observed United States national holidays + 2 mental health recharge days per year
  • Unlimited opportunities for growth & leadership within a rapidly growing firm
  • Ongoing employee development programs for personal and professional growth (Hedgehog and Vital 5s)
