Sales Lead - SME&C US Geographies


We are seeking a high-impact Sales Leader to drive growth across our Small, Medium Enterprises & Channel US Geographies (West & East) business in close partnership with Microsoft and Avanade leadership. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales team, shape go-to-market strategy and play a key role in driving joint success within the Microsoft ecosystem. You'll coach and inspire Business Development Executives, lead with a data-driven mindset, and stay personally engaged in strategic opportunities to accelerate growth and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

What you'll do
Own the overall growth strategy and business performance for the US East & West geographies, driving regional sales performance, revenue expansion, white-space development market growth planning and penetration, and strategic account development across the US SME&C GEO portfolio.
Build and maintain executive relationships across Microsoft geographic leadership, solution sales, customer success, and partner organizations to accelerate co-sell opportunities and strengthen Avanade's market position.
Champion Avanade's Frontier Firm strategy by driving adoption of AI, Data, Security, Modern Workplace, Business Applications, and Cloud solutions within the territory.
Lead annual and quarterly territory planning processes, identifying strategic accounts, whitespace opportunities, industry priorities, market investments, and growth plays required to achieve and exceed territory objectives.
Drive rigorous pipeline inspection, forecast accuracy, deal progression, qualification discipline, and opportunity management to deliver predictable business outcomes.
Lead through influence across industry, solution area, marketing, delivery, Microsoft, and Accenture stakeholders to execute integrated go-to-market strategies.
Represent Avanade within the local market through customer engagements, industry events, Microsoft activities, and executive-level relationship building.

Skills and experiences
10+ years leading enterprise technology, consulting, or professional services sales organizations.
Proven experience building and managing high-performing sales teams
Strong understanding of Microsoft's commercial sales organization and co-sell motions.
Experience leading geographic or regional sales businesses with revenue accountability.
Experience overseeing million-dollar pipeline and revenue targets.
Executive presence with ability to build trusted relationships with C-level clients, Microsoft leadership, and internal stakeholders.
Strong operational rigor with forecasting, pipeline governance, and business performance management.
Demonstrated success driving sales growth through ecosystem relationships and strategic partnerships.
Experience selling AI, Data, Security, Cloud, Digital Workplace, and Business Applications solutions.
Track record of building inclusive, high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
Deep understanding of one or more industries including Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, Financial Services, Health & Life Sciences, Communications, Media & Technology, or Public Sector.
Data-driven decision maker with strong business and financial acumen.
