The PFT/Rehabilitation Technician performs routine pulmonary function testing
(Spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas
volume, respiratory muscle strength). Performs routine exercise studies such as
O2 titration and 6-minute walk, resting energy expenditure. Performs
cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
Performs pulmonary rehabilitation diagnostic
and therapeutic exercise to others. CPFT-Cert Pulmonary Function Tech or
RPFT-Reg Pulmonary Function Tech required within 1 year of hire.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology Required or
