Your Role: Auto Parts Counter Professional As an Auto Parts Counter Professional, you'll report directly to the Store Manager and be at the heart of our inside sales activity. You'll build and maintain lasting relationships with our customers, ensuring they receive the best service and support. Your goal? "Get the Sale!" Close deals, meet targets, and help us drive success.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain productive, long-lasting relationships with existing customers.
  • Sales Excellence: Close sales to achieve goals and drive growth.
  • Professional Interaction: Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Customer Familiarity: Get to know our customers and understand their needs.
  • Problem Solving: Locate hard-to-find parts and negotiate with vendors for the best deals.
  • Accurate Quoting: Provide precise quotes and follow up with customers to ensure orders are placed.
  • Sales Tracking: Track lost sales and promote company specials.
  • Collaboration: Assist colleagues when needed and foster new sales opportunities.
  • Order Fulfillment: Fulfill customer orders from various sectors, including installers, fleets, municipalities, and car dealerships.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets. 
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in counter sales in a competitive market, with a preference for wholesale auto parts sales in the aftermarket industry.
  • Phone Skills: Exceptional phone skills with a positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone.
  • Customer Base: An existing customer base is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Customer Service: Passionate about exceptional customer service and exceeding sales goals.
  • Relationships: Ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
  • Automotive Knowledge: General automotive knowledge is preferred.
  • Results-Oriented: Focused on results, a producer, closer, and committed to growth.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with POS systems and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel).
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Multi-Lingual: Spanish and/or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus.
