Parts Counterperson & Delivery Driver – Suntrup Automotive Group (Hyundai/Kia)

Suntrup Automotive Group is seeking a reliable, motivated Parts Counterperson & Delivery Driver to support our Hyundai/Kia location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service both inside the dealership and out on the road.


Position Overview

This dual-role position supports the Parts Department by assisting customers and technicians at the counter while also handling timely and professional parts deliveries.


Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • Driver Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Parts Counter Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation
  • Driver: Starting at $17/hour
  • Parts Counter: Pay based on experience

Key ResponsibilitiesParts Counter
  • Assist internal and external customers with parts inquiries
  • Support technicians with accurate and timely parts requests
  • Pull and fill orders from inventory
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments
  • Maintain accurate inventory and perform weekly bin checks
  • Manage electronic parts tracking systems
  • Notify Parts Manager of shortages or urgent needs
  • Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
Delivery Driver
  • Organize and execute efficient delivery routes
  • Deliver parts to customers and other dealership locations
  • Maintain cleanliness and operability of company vehicle
  • Communicate delivery schedules with the Parts Department
  • Represent Suntrup Automotive Group with professionalism and courtesy
  • Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to the Parts Manager
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and procedural documents
  • Must be a current resident of St. Louis City or County
