Furniture Assembly & Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)
At Scan Design, we don't just deliver boxes; we deliver dreams. For over 50-years, we've been Florida's leader in contemporary design. Our clients expect a seamless transition from the showroom to their living room.
This isn't just a driving job- you are the face of our company. You will be responsible for transporting luxury furniture from our warehouse to residential and commercial clients, followed by professional on-site delivery. If you prefer high-volume drop-and-go routes, this is not the role for you. If you take pride in technical assembly and providing a luxury service experience, we invite you to apply.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Operate 18-foot box truck (or similar) safely, navigating local routes and maintaining a clean driving record
  • Professionally assemble various furniture items according to manufacturer specifications
  • Provide white-glove service to clients to ensure they are satisfied with the final setup
  • Maneuver, load, and unload heavy items (up to 75 lbs) frequently, including navigating stairs and tight hallways
  • Inspect items for damage before and after assembly, reporting any discrepancies immediately
  • Maintaining a clean workspace at a clients home, removing all packaging material upon completion
  • Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.

  • 3 years experience driving a box truck.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR check required)
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy furniture for 8+ hours per day
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a professional appearance
  • Punctuality is non-negotiable. Our clients rely on our scheduled delivery windows
