Job description

Overview

CORT Party Rental is hiring immediately for Event Installer/Drivers! 

Our Event Installer/Drivers are responsible for loading, unloading and installing our party rental equipment at various venues such as hotels, wineries and wedding venues. 

You would be a great fit if:

Pay: 22-24 / hour depending on experience

Schedule: Schedule will vary from 40-60 hours per week with overtime and double-time pay opportunities. Flexibility to work weekends and some nights is required. 


Responsibilities

  • Visit multiple event sites where you may drop off, stage, or install event rental equipment including tenting, flooring, staging, pipe and drape, and more.   
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the customer at event sites; providing excellent customer service. 
  • Count any returning inventory from client orders and complete appropriate paperwork  
  • Safely transport products between warehouse and event sites using 17-26 foot box trucks or sprinter vans   

Qualifications

  • Must be 20 years of age or older  
  • Valid WA state driver’s license with a safe driving record  
  • Bonus if you have previous truck driving experience, but not required  
  • Physically able and willing to move furniture or equipment indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner 
  • Per FMSCA Regulations: Drivers must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.   
  • Must pass drug screening and MVR checks as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
