Are you a safety-conscious, dependable driver with a passion for customer service? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Class A CDL Truck Driver with GPC! In this essential role, you'll be responsible for operating a semi-truck to deliver and merchandise GPC products to our valued customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Work Schedule:
• Be home every evening and night-no overnight hauls.
• Enjoy a four-day workweek (10-hour shifts), between Monday-Friday
• Start time is 5:00 AM.
A day in the life of a Class A CDL Truck Driver:
• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely deliver products to a designated customer route.
• Unload and check in products and ensure accurate delivery quantities with store personnel.
• Merchandise product at designated stops to ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays meet GPC standards.
• Serve as the face of GPC, fostering strong relationships with store teams and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns on-site professionally.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, company, and safety policies and regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
What does it take to succeed as a Class A CDL Truck Driver?
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Clean driving record with a strong safety history
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently
• Prior experience with product delivery, merchandising, or route sales is a plus but not required
• A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
