YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

In this role, you'll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here-use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.


As the In Room Dining Server, you will serve customers and extend great customer service by providing information to help with food and beverage selections, presenting order choices, and maintaining a great dining experience by promoting a warm and friendly atmosphere.


WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Take customers' food and beverage orders
  • Set tables/trays/carts to type of food and beverage ordered and to hotel service standards
  • Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each room in a timely manner
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
  • Responsible for cleaning and removal of tables/trays/carts from guest rooms and corridors
  • Suggest appetizers, meals, and beverages to customers based on the menu and specials
  • Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
  • Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
  • Detailed knowing and understanding menus and beverage lists
  • Maintains cleanliness standards in server station and kitchen service area in order to have a clean, presentable and attractive facility and to satisfy state and local health board requirements.
  • Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor
  • Controls allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information as the customer's order is taken and processed.
  • Receives proper payment from guest and ensures accuracy of guest check and method of payment in order to safeguard customer and company.
  • Completes all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing sidework as instructed.
  • Attends all pre-meal and departmental meetings in person in order to enhance communications and gain knowledge of products, service and facility.
  • Respect all of your co-workers and managers
  • Responds to customer inquiries and comments in person and on phone by providing timely and knowledgeable information in order to provide quality customer service.
  • Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Have fun at work; leave baggage at the door; come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a fun and memorable experience for our guests
  • Other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • One year server experience preferred
  • Basic math skills required, must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer
  • Strong customer service and oral communication skills
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Wine experience and/or certification
  • MICROS and Square POS Systems

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

  • U.S. Work Authorization (required).
