Job description

Created 36 years ago, the PCA Group of Companies (PCA) is a privately-owned, global beauty holding company. Currently being led by the founders and the next generation of the family, the Group spans ~1500 employees in 5 geographic locations around the world, focused on omnichannel distribution and fulfillment for the beauty category. Multiple subsidiaries with a distinct leadership, business direction, and separate financial structure.
We are looking for an established Vice President, Business Development, Beauty & Consumer Goods who specializes in beauty, wellness, cosmetics & consumer goods. The ideal candidate has a background in 3PL, is highly driven, and a results-oriented sales leader with a proven track record of acquiring and growing new business within the third-party logistics (3PL) industry. This strategic role is focused on expanding the company's presence within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, wellness, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors by developing and managing high-value client relationships and delivering customized logistics solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, and business development within the 3PL space, along with a strong understanding of the unique operational demands of beauty and consumer brands, including omnichannel fulfillment, retail compliance, inventory visibility, subscription fulfillment, product launches, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) distribution.
This individual will play a critical role in driving aggressive growth initiatives, expanding market share, and positioning the company as a premier 3PL partner for emerging and established beauty and consumer goods brands.
This position is remote working hours, Monday - Friday 9 am-6 pm
Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new 3PL partnerships within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, wellness, and consumer goods industries. Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to expand market share and drive revenue growth
  • Industry-Focused Solution Selling: Leverage expertise in beauty and consumer brand supply chains to provide customized 3PL solutions, including warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, retail distribution, kitting, subscription box fulfillment, transportation management, and inventory optimization
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients. Understand each brand's operational needs, growth objectives, and customer expectations to deliver high-quality, scalable logistics solutions
  • Market Research & Trend Analysis: Monitor trends within the beauty, wellness, retail, and consumer goods markets, including evolving e-commerce demands, retailer compliance requirements, and consumer purchasing behaviors. Use market insights to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategy
  • Sales Leadership: Support and contribute to a high-performance business development culture focused on revenue generation, client acquisition, and long-term account growth
  • Proposal & Contract Management: Lead the development of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, pricing strategies, and service agreements. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) that align operational capabilities with client expectations and profitability goals
  • Sales Funnel Management: Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through implementation. Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide regular reporting, forecasting, and KPI updates to executive leadership
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, customer service, transportation, and finance teams to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support for new beauty and consumer goods clients
  • Growth & Innovation: Identify untapped opportunities within emerging beauty and consumer brands. Promote innovative logistics solutions that improve speed-to-market, scalability, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track business development KPIs, pipeline performance, and revenue growth metrics. Continuously evaluate sales strategies and operational alignment to exceed business objectives

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in 3PL, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment services, with a strong focus on business development and new client acquisition
  • Demonstrated success in driving aggressive sales targets, securing large contracts, and growing a business portfolio in the 3PL or logistics sector
  • Proven success selling logistics and fulfillment solutions to beauty, wellness, cosmetics, consumer goods, or retail brands. Strong understanding of omnichannel fulfillment, DTC operations, retail distribution, warehousing, and transportation management
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Ability to sell complex logistics solutions to senior-level decision-makers
  • High energy, self-motivated, and goal-driven, with a passion for winning new business and contributing to company growth
  • Experience in leading and mentoring sales teams. Ability to inspire and motivate others while managing a high-performing, target-driven team
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders

  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office Suite, and logistics management software. Familiarity with industry technologies and tools is a plus.
