Sales Manager / Business Development Specialist
-Personal Care Manufacturing (required experience)
-Location: Gardena
-Compensation: $80,000 – $125,000/year + Bonus
-The Role: We are partnering with a growing personal care manufacturing company seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager / Business Development Specialist to help expand business opportunities, develop client relationships, and drive revenue growth within the beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and personal care sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with experience in personal care manufacturing, contract manufacturing, private label, or beauty product development who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new client opportunities
• Identify and pursue new business within the personal care, skincare, cosmetics, beauty, and wellness markets
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through closing and account growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, retailers, distributors, and manufacturing partners
• Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, production, operations, and customer service to support client needs
• Present manufacturing capabilities, product solutions, and development opportunities to prospective clients
• Prepare proposals, pricing, presentations, and sales forecasts
• Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings as needed
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting within CRM systems -Qualifications
• 3+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience within the personal care, beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of personal care manufacturing, private label, or contract manufacturing environments
• Proven ability to develop new business and close deals
• Experience managing B2B client relationships and growing accounts
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Preferred Qualifications
• Existing network within the beauty or personal care industry
• Experience working with formulation, packaging, or product development teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing timelines, production processes, and supply chain coordination
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
