Job description

Machine Helper 

Shifts: 3rd (10 PM start, Sun-Thu), 1st (6 AM start, Mon-Fri), 2nd (2 PM start, Mon-Fri)
Rate: $18-19/hr

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Helper to support production operations within a fast-paced corrugated box manufacturing environment. This role is essential to keeping machinery running efficiently, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn and grow within the manufacturing field.

What you'll do:

  • Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and changeovers of corrugating and converting equipment
  • Feed materials into machines and remove finished products from production lines
  • Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and company standards
  • Stack, bundle, and prepare finished corrugated boxes for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all housekeeping and safety guidelines
  • Support basic machine maintenance, including cleaning and minor adjustments
  • Follow all company procedures, safety protocols, and production schedules

What we're looking for:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus (corrugated experience highly preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to train on 1st Shift
