Job description

Position Overview
The Field Service Representative serves as the primary technical and service liaison between the corrugated box plant and its customers. This role is responsible for supporting customers on-site and remotely to ensure optimal performance of corrugated packaging, resolve issues, and strengthen customer relationships.
The position combines technical troubleshooting, customer support, and operational coordination to ensure product performance, minimize disruptions, and enhance the overall customer experience
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and addressing product performance needs
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to packaging performance, equipment, and materials
  • Conduct customer visits to evaluate performance, provide recommendations, and support ongoing operations
  • Monitor product quality, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Provide on-site support for troubleshooting, product launches, and critical production runs
  • Track and report customer issues, trends, and resolutions to support data-driven decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer operations, reduce waste, and deliver value-added solutions

Qualifications
Candidates with experience at corrugated packaging manufacturers, box plants, sheet plants, packaging converters, or related paper and packaging operations are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-7 years of experience in corrugated manufacturing, packaging, or technical service
  • Experience with corrugator and/or converting processes strongly preferred
  • Customer-Facing Experience
