About the role
  • Calvert County Detention Center is looking for a reliable and qualified Registered Nurse to care for individuals in our custody.

What you'll do
  • Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Collect vital signs, lab specimens, and patient health data
  • Support sick call and assist providers with procedures
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate MAR documentation
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes
  • Conduct rounds and document patient progress
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Maintain medication security, including narcotics accountability

Qualifications
