Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Market Manager to lead growth initiatives and strengthen our market presence within the financial services sector. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that expand market share, enhance customer engagement, and drive revenue performance.

The Market Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, optimize product offerings, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. By leveraging market insights and customer data, this role plays a key part in keeping the organization competitive in an evolving financial landscape.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive market strategies to increase the company’s footprint in targeted regions.
  • Lead and coordinate sales and marketing teams to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business growth.
  • Ensure all activities comply with banking regulations and internal policies, maintaining high standards of integrity and risk management.
  • Collaborate with product development and operations teams to tailor financial products that meet market demands.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field OR
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market management, sales leadership, or business development within the banking or financial services industry OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing market growth initiatives and achieving sales targets
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements in the United States
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with nonbank credit intermediation products and services a plus

Computer / Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Familiarity with digital banking platforms and fintech innovations a plus

Certifications, Licenses:

  • Certified Financial Services Counselor (CFSC) or similar a plus

Skills Required:

  • Analyzes market data and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Leverages strong leadership and communication skills to motivate teams, negotiate with clients, and collaborate across departments
  • Applies regulatory knowledge to ensure compliance with legal standards and mitigate risk
  • Adapts to evolving banking technologies to support innovative solutions and enhance customer experience
