Job description

SUMMARY: Provides administrative support to Personal Banking Officers and Branch Management. Performs a variety of client services duties in support of branch account servicing and sales efforts. Performs other related duties as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets, assists and/or directs walk-in clients to the proper department or employee.
Assists the Personal Banking Officers and Branch Management in the administration and client account servicing including but not limited to account changes, debit card orders and wire transfers.
Provides administrative support to Branch team in the new account opening process. Ensures compliance and proper documentation requirements are met in adherence to internal policies and procedures during the new account opening
process and service transactions.
Supports the Branch with the sales marketing efforts. May participate in sales campaigns and assists with in-house marketing events.
Performs Teller transactions as necessary. Ensures accurate and timely processing of basic and routine retail banking transactions for personal and commercial customers. Balances daily work in accordance within established policies and procedures.
Provides Safe Deposit Box client service including admitting clients to Safe Deposit Box vault, opening new accounts, closing accounts, making changes, inventory, and balancing.
Provides support to Electronic Banking department as necessary.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent; two years of retail banking related experience including Teller or retail banking client service experience. Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients by phone or in person in a dynamic work environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of standard bank products, policies and procedures. Multi-task oriented with strong organizational skills. Computer proficient in Outlook, MS Word and Excel.
