Overview
The Personal Banking Officer (Main Branch) is responsible for delivering personalized service and support across all aspects of customer engagement, relationship management, and account maintenance within the branch.
Responsibilities
This role assists in managing client relationships and supports a variety of banking functions, including customer transactions, loan processing, credit analysis, overdraft and returned item handling, and general administrative tasks. The Personal Banking Officer must ensure full compliance with all applicable Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) regulatory requirements.

Education/Experience:
Requirements
  1. Associate's degree in Business (Finance or Accounting).
  2. 4+ years of banking experience required, directly related to servicing customers in retail banking branch operations.

Combination of education and experience will be considered.
Skills & Competencies
  1. Ability to understand and implement job related policies and procedures.
  2. Knowledgeable of internal bank operations (wire transfers, debits/credits and loan payments) and of banking products to cross-sell.
  3. Ability to handle financial transactions, fraud detection, and customer dispute resolution.
  4. Experience working in a team (sales and service), and high-quality service advocacy.
  5. Knowledge of the completion of KYC.
  6. Comprehension of banking laws and applicable compliance regulations.
  7. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office Software, (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Teams).
