Who you are:
As a Vault Teller, you are our director of currency. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring levels of coin and/or currency in the bank vault. You will verify sums of coin and currency received from branches, correspondent banks, customers, and money from tellers. More than that, this role is about following established procedures and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
What you'll do:
  • Supplies branches, correspondent banks and customers with coin and currency
  • Monitors and maintains established levels of cash in the vault, and orders cash from the Federal Reserve Bank when necessary
  • Verifies sums of coin and currency received from branches, correspondent banks, customers and money from tellers
  • Verify, capture, and balance check deposit items and audit check image quality
  • Contacts appropriate sender in case of error
  • Prepares and ships excess coin and currency to the Federal Reserve Bank or correspondent banks
  • Balances completed work and compiles reports showing inventory as needed
  • Maintains security over area of operation following established procedures

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
