Job Title: Teller

Hours: M-F 9a-5:30p

Start date: 06/22/2026

Reports to: Teller

Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager

Summary: To receive and process deposits, checks, payments, and other transactions as well as issue money orders, travelers checks and other drafts by performing the following duties

  • Must haves: 
    • Must have high school diploma
    • Must be able to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications
    • Must have a welcoming personality as you will be greeting customers as they walk in
  • Job description: 
    • Represent the Credit Union in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all members, potential members, and coworkers, complying with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Provide exceptional member service skills (i.e. knowledge, adaptability, patience, attentiveness, positive communication, time management, and willingness to learn), as well as efficient and accurate transaction processing.
    • Maintain an adequate cash drawer at all times, including buying and selling currency from the vault as necessary and balancing your teller drawer throughout the workday, maintaining the appearance of the teller line, and personal teller window, actively maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
    • Open and close branch procedures, including but not limited to loading check printers, money order machine, stocking printers with paper, turning off personal heaters, opening and closing drive thru lanes, etc.
    • Assist with other departments as needed (Home Equity, Credit Cards, Loans, Accounting, Filing, Reception, Marketing, Member Service, Scanning, etc.)
    • Answer member inquiries, consult other departments as needed, process address changes, mail payment checks daily, as well as non-member cashing members checks.

Interview details: virtual interview with me (Reya), virtual interview with Account Manager (Jesse), phone screen with Manager, and one final round onsite interview with Hiring Manager.
