Job description

The following duties are typical of those performed by a student worker; however, they may perform other related duties not listed and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee.
  • Assist with food preparation, serving, cleaning, and sanitizing tables, washing dishes, proper food rotation
  • Assist with sorting and pricing merchandise, Inventory control, operate cash register, customer service
  • Grounds maintenance including, raking, sweeping, leaf blower, setting up for special events, garbage collection
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, disinfection of bathrooms, dusting and general cleaning of interior buildings, vacuuming
  • Bus tables, use commercial dishwasher, set tables
  • Preparing pizzas, taking food orders in person and on the phone. assemble take out boxes,
  • Operate shredder, clean office furniture, maintain classroom supplies, prepare mailings, take and deliver messages, maintain copy room supplies
  • Monitoring children under direct supervisor of teacher, assist with play activities, assist with meals and snacks, participate with children in group games.
  • Clean up computers, imaging/cloning computers, routine computer maintenance, install computer software, deliver, and install ink/toner cartridges
  • Check books and periodicals in and out, shelving books and periodicals, record monetary transactions
  • Clean interior and exterior of vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned
