Our client is seeking a Bilingual Content Specialist/Proofreader to support the creation and review of donor-facing marketing and fundraising communications. This role will focus on editing, proofreading, and reviewing English, Spanish-language, and bilingual content across print and digital channels. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and has experience ensuring content is culturally relevant, accurate, and aligned with established brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Edit, proofread, and review English, Spanish-language, and bilingual communications for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and audience appropriateness.

  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and campaign objectives.

  • Review Spanish-language materials for cultural relevance, tone, and effectiveness rather than direct word-for-word translation.

  • Support the transcreation process by adapting approved English content into Spanish while preserving messaging intent and audience engagement.

  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and consistency.

  • Manage revisions through multiple review and approval stages while maintaining version control and quality standards.
