Job description

Principal Agency Ops Coordinator
The Principal Agency Ops Coordinator is responsible for various functions within the Servicing Insurance Team. The role is responsible for managing the insurance team mailbox, following up for insurance certificates, invoices, paid receipts and insurance policies for multifamily loans for the Agency Finance portfolio of loans that are underwritten through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae (Government-Sponsored Enterprise or GSEs). This individual will also be responsible for providing information to both internal stakeholders (other LOBs) and external stakeholders (borrowers, insurance agents, third party providers, and the GSEs). Additionally, they will be responsible for identifying, researching, solving and/or responding to requests, inquiries, and problematic situations in a timely manner.
This role will have direct contact with insurance agents and borrowers and must be capable of maintaining a high quality of service to internal and external clients/partners. Must be
able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high quality of service.
Must have superior customer service skills, be detail oriented, organized and self-
motivated.
Responsibilities:
  • Managing insurance team mailbox and address or redirect inquiries to appropriate teams
  • Independently review reports for outstanding insurance information and follow up with agents/borrowers (certificates, invoices, paid receipts and policies)
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the Servicing system McCracken
  • Proactively communicate with insurance agents and borrowers along with third party vendors to ensure insurance documentation is received timely.
  • Upload loan documents into document repository system - OneView
  • Assist with collecting and upload documentation for audits

Basic Qualification:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services or servicing operations
  • At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate or financial services
  • 3+ years of insurance experience including flood insurance
  • 3+ years of experience with GSE - Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac insurance experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $62,500 - $71,300 for Principal Agency Ops Coordinator
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
