Job description

S&S Rock Crushing has an immediate opening for a driven, technical-oriented project coordinator to join our growing team! We are seeking individuals who wish to grow in their ability to estimate and take off jobs and be fully responsible for seeing through multiple projects from start to finish.   Compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, relevant work experience, skills, and overall ability to perform the duties of the role. Starting pay will be commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Job Requirements:
  • A knowledge base of aggregate, concrete crushing and processing, demolition, and grading. 
  • The ability to communicate with general contractors and government bodies.
  • Able to record detailed scopes of work during meeting and site visits. 
  • Ability to layout a job and set elevations would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of a GPS equipment would be an asset.
  • Ability to perform accurate takeoff's and build dirtwork estimates for projects ranging from $70K-$200K.
  • Strong administrative and planning skills to manage scheduling visits and jobs, dispatch trucking, order parts or equipment and invoicing jobs accordingly. 
  • Field Experience is preferred. 
  • Degree in Construction Technology, Management or Engineering is preferred but not required.
