Job description

Nashville, TN (HYBRID)- Midtown
Senior Payroll Specialist
The senior payroll specialist is responsible for timely payroll administration of 1000+ employees throughout the US, ensuring that accuracy and compliance are adhered to the applicable laws and regulations.
What you would be doing:
  • Process bi-weekly and weekly payrolls for employees throughout multiple facilities (1,000+)
  • Make tax deposits and supports filing of quarterly/annual tax reports
  • Calculating and processing employee salary, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in Workday
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports (Excel exports/uploads)
  • Ensure tax tables are accurate and up to date for each employee depending on the coordinating state
  • Weekly payroll reconciliation
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
What we need from YOU!
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with end to end (in house) payroll processing and payroll tax support
  • Advanced Excel expertise (Xlookup, Pivot table, etc.)
  • Proven knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, large payroll platforms (ADP WFN, Workday, Oracle, UKG, etc.)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the upmost discretion.

***This position is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 WFH) and located in metro Nashville ***
Hours: Monday- Friday (40/hrs/week), 7:30-4:30pm or 8am-5pm
Target Pay Rate $31-34/hr + OT
Pay Details: $67,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
