WHAT WILL YOU DO AS AN ASSOCIATE NURSE MANAGER?
The Associate Nurse Manager acts as clinical manager for an assigned shift in the ICU unit. Provides support to the nurse manager in the planning, education, coordination, staffing, and supervision of nursing care delivery to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory standards of care and practice and ensures that an adequate number of nursing personnel are scheduled and available to meet patient care needs. The Associate Nurse Manager, in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, will create an environment for staff participation in performance improvement activities that assures that the care of the particular patient population meets or exceeds institutional and regulatory standards.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE AN ASSOCIATE NURSE MANAGER?
Education and Experience Requirements:
Currently licensed in New York State as an RN and a graduate of an approved school of nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, MSN preferred. A minimum of three years' experience in the acute care setting is required, Endoscopy experience preferred. ACLS certification is required and must be completed within 180 days of hire.

Salary Range: $41.30-61.94/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
