We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and detail-orientedCorporate Controller to lead our accounting operations and support the financial health of the organization. This key leadership role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening internal controls, overseeing financial reporting and audits, and developing a high-performing accounting team.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional analytical ability, and a collaborative leadership style. They will serve as a trusted financial partner to executive leadership, operational leaders, providers, and external stakeholders.


What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, accounts payable, treasury, fixed assets, and policy management.
  • Ensure timely, complete, and materially accurate accounting entries, reconciliations, monthly and year-end close activities, financial statements, and analyses.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to promote accountability, accuracy, fiscal responsibility, and regulatory compliance across clinic locations.
  • Partner in the annual operating and capital budgeting process by providing financial analysis, reporting, training, and support to budget stewards.
  • Manage the annual financial audit and coordinate the preparation and delivery of required documentation and financial information to external auditors.
  • Oversee provider financial statements, respond to questions and concerns, and ensure accurate and timely physician settlements and equity transactions.
  • Lead, mentor, train, and evaluate accounting team members, fostering professional growth, engagement, and high performance.
  • Ensure the timely payment of liabilities, appropriate recording and control of cash receipts, and sound financial controls and reporting practices.
  • Manage fixed asset processes, including depreciation schedules, annual physical inventories, asset controls, and disposition procedures.
  • Oversee billing, collection, and documentation for contract receivables, including lease obligations, professional service contracts, and vendor rebate programs.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, lenders, and third-party agencies on accounting-related matters.
  • Support finance and accounting technology initiatives, including user training, reporting, controls, and ongoing process improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and training for executive and senior leadership. Provide guidance to operational leaders on financial statement interpretation, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Participate in finance-related committee meetings and contribute to organization-wide strategic initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; master's degree preferred.
  • At least five years of progressive accounting experience; healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the financial close process and managing an accounting or finance team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, audit preparation, and accounting operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Great Plains, SQL, and Management Reporter preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
