Job description

Tensley Consulting is seeking a Level 3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support mission-critical IT systems by translating Government requirements into technical solutions across system configuration, deployment, and sustainment activities. The SME provides advanced technical expertise across enterprise IT environments including networking, communications, security, and system architecture. This role works closely with government stakeholders, engineers, and operational teams to analyze system performance, identify emerging technologies, and implement solutions that improve mission operations in complex and high-risk environments.

The SME supports end-to-end system lifecycle activities including configuration, testing, deployment, sustainment, and documentation of operational IT systems. This position includes CONUS and OCONUS travel. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is required in addition to six (6) years' experience in collection, processing and distribution technology.

Ten (10) years' experience in collection, processing and distribution technology can be substituted for a bachelor's degree and six (6) years' experience. Salary: $190,000-$210,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed.

Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.
