Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Turnaround P6 Scheduler with strong expertise in project controls and cost management to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of turnaround projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a proactive professional with exceptional Primavera P6 skills, analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of turnaround processes and project controls.

Primavera P6 Scheduling:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed turnaround schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and forecasting to ensure efficient execution plans.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate scope changes, delays, or unforeseen circumstances.
Project Controls:

  • Collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain project baselines.
  • Track progress and performance metrics against established schedules and plans.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on project KPIs, including earned value analysis.
Cost Management:

  • Integrate cost data with schedules to develop cost-loaded schedules.
  • Monitor and control turnaround budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Work closely with cost engineers to align costs with work breakdown structures (WBS).
Collaboration and Communication:

  • Interface with key stakeholders, including operations, engineering, and contractors, to ensure alignment on project timelines.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and produce lookahead schedules for execution teams.
  • Provide detailed reports and dashboards to leadership, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in P6 turnaround scheduling, project controls, and cost management within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced understanding of project scheduling principles.

  • Experience with cost management tools and methodologies.
