The Commodity Manager is responsible for independently managing assigned commodity categories to ensure supplier performance, cost optimization, and supply continuity. This role applies indepth procurement and market knowledge to develop and execute sourcing strategies, solve complex cost and supply challenges, and support business objectives through crossfunctional collaboration..

This position reports to the Director, Procurement and is part of the Procurement Team located in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Independently manage assigned commodities, including supplier performance, cost, and risk management
  • Develop and execute sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with operational and business objectives
  • Identify and deliver cost savings initiatives while monitoring market trends and key cost drivers
  • Lead and support supplier negotiations and contractual agreements
  • Act as a procurement resource for crossfunctional partners and lessexperienced colleagues

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related operations roles
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and supporting sourcing or costreduction initiatives
  • Experience leading or supporting supplier negotiations and commercial agreements
  • Proficiency using data, KPIs, Excel, and ERP systems to support decisionmaking

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 10-20%, including occasional overnight domestic travel; international travel as needed.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience sourcing medical device components or assemblies.
  • Experience applying Lean principles or structured problemsolving tools in a manufacturing environment

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
