Job description

We're seeking a motivated Front-End Developer to join our team, splitting time between maintaining our Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefronts and helping build out our multi-brand React design system. In both areas, you'll work closely with our design team to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible front-end code. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a design system as it grows.

●    Maintain and enhance Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefronts built on SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)

●    Build front-end implementations using ISML, JavaScript, and SCSS

●    Translate Figma design files into pixel-perfect, responsive front-end code

●    Help build out our early-stage React design system by creating new components

●    Document and test those components with stories authored in Storybook

●    Contribute to a design-token-driven theming architecture that supports multiple brands

●    Ensure web accessibility compliance (WCAG) across all platforms

●    Partner with our design team to implement layouts and user interfaces

●    Optimize front-end code for speed, scalability, and SEO performance

●    Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate components with APIs

●    Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards

●    Stay current with emerging CSS techniques and front-end best practices

Required Qualifications:

●    2+ years of experience with modern CSS and responsive design principles

●    Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)

●    Experience with ISML templating or willingness to learn quickly

●    Expertise with modern CSS including Flexbox, Grid, and advanced styling techniques

●    Experience working closely with design teams to implement UI/UX designs

●    Knowledge of version control with Git and collaborative development workflows

●    Strong understanding of accessibility principles and web performance basics

●    Working knowledge of React including functional components and hooks

●    Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications:

●    Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience with SFRA development (or strong interest in learning)

●    Headless commerce: familiarity with headless architecture patterns (Salesforce PWA Kit, Shopify Hydrogen, etc.)

●    Design systems: experience contributing to a design system or component library

●    Tokens and tooling: familiarity with design tokens, Storybook, or Style Dictionary

●    Component libraries: experience with Tailwind CSS, class-variance-authority (CVA), or Radix UI
