Shipcom is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in shaping the user experience of our cutting-edge AIoT platform solutions. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and implementing them using the latest frontend technologies. Working closely with our product managers, backend developers, and stakeholders, you will create seamless, responsive, and visually appealing user experiences that enhance our platform's functionality and user satisfaction.As a UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer, you will lead the design and development of user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. You will be expected to take projects from initial concept through to final implementation, ensuring that our applications are visually compelling and easy to use. Your role will involve translating complex requirements into wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs, followed by the development of frontend components that bring those designs to life.Attention to detail, a passion for user-centered design, and a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks are essential.Joining our team offers a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on our AI and IoT products and solutions. Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field; Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and frontend development, specifically for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD and Figma, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and execution.
  • Expertise in frontend development using React, including hooks, state management, and component libraries.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a keen eye for clean and maintainable code.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling in a React environment.
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries, ensuring a consistent user experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
