Overview

***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***

Performs complex administrative tasks in receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing Government Material/Property and compiles automated stock records in Maximo, IFS, and GCSS-A systems. Submits acquisitions, tracks orders, and perform receipt transactions in GCSS-A system. Processes customers’ materiel/equipment orders and validates contractual requirement to acquire IAW the Program’s PWS. Perform 3-way match, receive, segregate and issue materiel/equipment to customers.


Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Screens and validates acquisitions throughout the entire LCV KAW TO.
  • Validates acquisitions’ financial and contractual compliance.
  • Submits customer acquisitions and tracks orders in Maximo, IFS, and GCSS-A system.
  • Coordinates, reconciles, and expedites materiel/equipment acquisitions.
  • Accesses DLA Logistics systems to track incoming shipments.
  • Performs receipt transactions in Maximo, IFS, and GCSS-A system.
  • Validates and processes suppliers’ invoices for approval and payments.
  • Maintains files used and prepared in accordance with governing rules, regulations, and policies, to include archiving records using GCSS-Army system.
  • Runs daily reports in MAXIMO, IFS, and GCSS-A systems.
  • Runs the warehouses Re-order analysis report and analyzes the stockage levels.
  • Submits replenishment orders in Maximo and GCSS-A systems.
  • Prepare, read, and analyze records and reports necessary to execute actions accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • GCSS-A Certification desired. If no certification, must successfully complete web base or in-person training courses within 90 days of assuming the position.
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience:
    • 2 years experience in Materiel Management or related experience in Supply and Logistics
    • Functional, comprehensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations for Materiel/Property Management.
    • Working knowledge of supply chain operations and inventory management is required.
  • Skills:
    • Experience in military or commercial supply management system. GCSS-Army and DLA Program experience is required.
    • NPMA, Certified Professional Property Specialist or above is desired.
    • Strong knowledge level of automated financial and accounting systems.
    • IFS experience is desired.
    • Maximo system experience is desired.
    • Ability to develop training materials using the latest electronic tools and deliver training to a multinational work force with varying language skills.
    • Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in a tropical weather condition with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, wet, tropical environment with average temperatures of 85 degrees in the summer months).
    • The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
    • The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
