ASRC Federal Advanced Research is currently seeking a Program Manager to support autonomy vehicle integrations in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Considering the state of the world today, military technical innovation is critical to defending our territories and those of our allies. The US Army is currently exploring advancements to equip ground combat forces with autonomous vehicle platforms. This effort presents a unique opportunity for civilians to participate in the research and development efforts that will shape future battlefield combat platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers and cross-functional teams supporting program execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated program schedules and project timelines to ensure achievement of contractual milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring all technical, cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
  • Oversee project completion activities and verify deliverables satisfy customer requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Develop program budgets and financial forecasts; track expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Analyze cost performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain program profitability and financial objectives.
  • Identify technical, schedule, manufacturing, and cost risks across projects and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize program impacts.
  • Lead program reviews, status meetings, and management briefings to communicate progress, issues, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple projects to optimize workforce utilization and improve program efficiency.
  • Work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics, and customer representatives to resolve issues and maintain program momentum.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce project completion times, improve operational efficiency, and increase program execution effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction throughout the program organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel CONUS or OCONUS 25% annually.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent, and eight years of related experience.
