Shift: NIGHTS- 6P-630A - 3x12's alternating weekends
NO CALL
FLOATING TO LAB
NO 48 HOUR OPTION
NO BLOCK SCHEDULING
REQUIREMENTS:
Chemistry, hematology, Blood Bank experience preferred
1 YEAR EXPERIENCE
Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent from an institution of higher education as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education preferred.
1) Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT,AAB, HHS, or equivalent accrediting agency required. TN State license is preferred.
OR
2) Meet CLIA - On or before April 24, 1995 be a high school graduate or equivalent and successfully completed an official U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration and have held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician)

Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
