POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly qualified Entry to Mid-Level Contracts Administrator/Paralegal to support the legal operations of our rapidly growing SaaS cybersecurity company by ensuring all business activities align with applicable legal and regulatory standards. This role requires a fundamental understanding of commercial business law, legal principles and practices, as well as the ability to apply this knowledge in a business context. A Contracts Administrator/Paralegal plays a vital role in the contracts department, focusing on drafting, reviewing, redlining and negotiating various types of commercial agreements (e.g., prospective customers, vendors, leases, technical product evaluations) while ensuring compliance with legal standards and managing risk mitigation. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining effective contracting processes and ensuring that all legal documents are accurately prepared and archived. They may assist in corporate initiatives, employment matters, and trademark issues. A core part of their responsibilities is staying current with evolving government regulations and legal requirements, particularly in areas such as SaaS, data privacy, cybersecurity, and FedRAMP, all while ensuring the company maintains full compliance with these standards. The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.

JOB SCOPE
  • Reviewing, negotiating, redlining, and drafting various commercial and vendor agreements
  • Providing administrative support for legal documentation
  • Assisting in compliance projects, particularly with data privacy regulations
  • Researching and evaluating risk factors which impact business decisions and operations
  • Supporting contracts operations
  • Establishing and maintaining contracting processes and templates
  • Participating in developing company policies on legal issues
  • Researching and communicating updates to applicable laws and regulations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in law, with a focus on managing commercial contracts. They will effectively ensure legal conformity with internal policies, have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business Law, Legal Studies, or Paralegal Certificate/Degree
  • 3โ€‘5 yearsโ€™ experience as Contracts Administrator, Contracts Manager, Paralegal
  • 2 yearsโ€™ minimum experience with commercial SaaS contracts and cybersecurity highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, negotiating, redlining, and drafting a wide range of commercial and vendor contracts such as NDA, DPA, BAA, MSA
  • Ability to assess and document complex contractual language with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA and other data privacy regulations
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

ThreatLocker also conducts randomized drug and substance testing approximately every 60 days, in line with the same screening standards.
