Overview

Theย Sr. Legal & Compliance Coordinatorย serves as a trusted partner to the Legal & Compliance team, providing advanced support for complex regulatory and compliance programs. This position independently coordinates regulatory filings, corporate governance activities, contracting processes, audits, vendor management, and other critical legal and compliance functions while supporting organizational and executive-level priorities.ย

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced, independent support for complex Legal and Compliance functions, including regulatory filings, corporate governance, contracting, vendor management, audits, and compliance initiativesย 

  • Prepare, coordinate, andย submitย state and federal regulatory, licensure, and corporate filings, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable requirementsย 

  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, including managing correspondence, responding to inquiries, andย monitoringย regulatory guidance and updatesย 

  • Support contract administration activities, including intake,ย reviewย coordination, routing, execution, storage, and tracking of agreementsย 

  • Assistย with vendor management and onboarding processes, partnering with internal stakeholders to support compliance requirementsย 

  • Maintain corporate governance records andย supportย Board, committee, shareholder, and affiliate activities, including agendas, minutes, resolutions, bylaws, and other official documentsย 

  • Develop, organize, andย maintainย legal andย complianceย documentation, records, policies, procedures, templates, and intranet resourcesย 

  • Coordinate regulatory and business calendars, track deadlines, and manage reporting requirements across multiple states and lines of businessย 

  • Support audits,ย monitoringย activities, corrective action plans, compliance reporting, due diligence efforts, and legal or regulatory researchย 

  • Identifyย opportunities to improve Legal and Compliance processes, drive operational efficiencies, and support departmental projects and strategic initiativesย 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in legal administration, compliance, contracting, vendor management, or grant writing in the managed care, health insurance industry, or legal fieldย 

  • Associate's degree and 7 years of experience in in legal administration, compliance, contracting, vendor management, or grant writing in the managed care, health insurance industry, or legal fieldย 

  • High school equivalency and 10 years of experienceย in legal administration, compliance, contracting, vendor management, or grant writing in the managed care, health insurance industry, or legal fieldย 

  • Advanced writing and editing skillsย
