Job description

Triad Associates (part of the Concordia Wireless family) is a nationwide construction services firm specializing in the development of wireless communication sites, with a focus on supporting telecom networks. We are contracted by major carries to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G. Our services include construction management, electrical and civil modernization, antenna and line (A&L) tower work, tower maintenance, fiber optic network deployment, commissioning and integration, directional boring, trenching, and excavating. Our expertise spans a wide range of projects.

To support our growing client base, we are seeking Electrical Apprentices.

Candidate must currently be enrolled in a Dept of Labor recognized Electrical Apprenticeship program to be considered.

In this role, you are responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with civil and tower construction projects. The role requires working under the direction of a Licensed Master Electrician / Supervisor to ensure the successful completion of daily tasks in compliance with safety and quality standards.

We are hiring full time roles in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.

Pay Range:Hourly rate which varies based on experience and completion stage of Apprenticeship program; annual bonus also provided

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair electrical equipment on Cell Phone Towers
  • Work closely with construction crews and Project Managers to meet deadlines
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Be responsible for the electrical installation that meets client standards for the quality of work, with an emphasis on meeting the budgeted hours available.
  • Be knowledgeable of all aspects of electrical construction materials and control equipment that make up the field installation part of a Cell Tower site
  • Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems
  • Inspect Cell Tower Sites for compliance with plans and specifications, point out deficiencies, coach and take corrective action as needed.
  • Promote safety on the jobsite in connection with the installation and service work.
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Currently enrolled in a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor or a federally recognized State Apprenticeship Agency.
    • Must be able to provide documentation of current apprenticeship enrollment.
  • Strong English writing/speaking communication skills
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, utility, telecommunications, EV charging, or infrastructure construction preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work on EV charging infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest and Appalachian Regions.
  • Ability to work under supervision of Master Electricians and EVITP-certified personnel.

  • Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • May involve long hours, weekend, or night shifts depending on project timelines.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
