Job description

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Position Summary:
      • An HVAC Mechanic is licensed or certified in HVACR maintenance and repair. Possesses the ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment at contractor level. Able to read blueprints, technical manuals, and interpret information to complete repairs. Ability to develop reports or instruction manuals. Provides on-call as needed to support 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts. Performs other Plant Operating Maintenance duties as necessary and directed.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High School Diploma or Equivalent
      • Completion of licensed refrigeration and air conditioning trade school program
    • Minimum Experience
      • Completion of a job training program through an apprenticeship or journeyman program
      • Five years experience in the commercial HVACR field
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • Licensed or certification in HVAC
      • Valid Kansas driver's license with clear driving record preferred
