Client Job Title: Training Specialist

Job description:

We are seeking three Contract Training Specialists to support the design, development, revision, and maintenance of training materials. Deliverables may include presentations, participant guides, knowledge assessments, hands-on performance evaluations, computer-based training modules, and other instructional resources.

Contract Training Specialists collaborate with training instructors, business unit subject matter experts, and external partners to apply the ADDIE instructional design model throughout the training development process. This role is responsible for ensuring training materials align with defined learning objectives, established development standards, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.

The position supports training programs across Power Generation, Electric Transmission, Electric Distribution, Operations & Support, and other training initiatives as business needs evolve.

Note: This is a training development role and does not include instructional delivery or classroom facilitation responsibilities.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in classroom and/or web-based training needs analysis, instructional design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Experience applying the ADDIE instructional design methodology is preferred.
  • Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience developing instructor-led, virtual, and computer-based training materials.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Operational knowledge or practical experience in one or more of the following industries:
  • Power Generation
  • Electric Transmission
  • Electric Distribution
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
  • Experience developing training materials that meet regulatory or compliance requirements.
