Job description

Theater Posture Planner
The Opportunity:
Serve as a Theater Posture Planner applying subject-matter expertise to support the design, integration, communication, and execution of the Theater Posture Plan (TPP). Integrate Service Component requirements into a synchronized theater posture concept and align posture efforts. Works with staff to incorporate posture initiatives into theater-level operational plans and products and manages posture inputs for reports. Collaborates closely with Service Component posture planners to evaluate, integrate, and document operational posture initiatives that achieve Joint effects at critical locations across the Indo-Pacific. Validate posture requirements, resolves discrepancies across the Joint Force, and ensures initiatives are operationally grounded, feasible within timelines, and aligned with Command priorities. This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting military operations, planning, or posture-related activities
  • 5+ years of experience working within the Pacific Command Area of Responsibility
  • Knowledge of Joint Force planning processes or operational assessments
  • Ability to synthesize complex operational requirements into clear analytic or planning products
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with posture planning, force management, or theater campaign design
  • Experience with military construction programing
  • Knowledge of military operations in Northeast Asia
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and coordinate across multiple directorates
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
