Job description

Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay: $35 to $40 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and train required technical skills for client employees within a specific program, branch or department
  • Conduct training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and reports, understanding job-specific functions and tasks
  • Evaluates training by assessing effectiveness of training to specific job applications
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and developing program specific standards
  • Implement training processes and best practices that add value and improve business performance
  • Ensure all personnel have required access and understand what their role requires within the systems that IES functions in
  • Provide instruction and eLearning guides for and new technologies and processes are developed
  • Development of comprehensive training materials for both classroom and eLearning experiences
  • As needed, provide one-on-one training sessions to employees with questions and/or issues
  • Provide and maintain professional training in a classroom and field environment as well as provide coaching to groups or individuals
  • Provide refresher training as necessary
  • Ensure precise processes are being communicated in a timely manner
  • Gather feedback from teams to improve training and processes
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Operate as a team member of management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Lead by positive example on policy, quality, safety, employee, ethical, and customer satisfaction attitude.
  • Must be able to work a non-standard work schedule as required to provide job, team or individual specific training.
  • For demonstration purposes, must be able to climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop, implement and review project process improvement(s).
  • Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
  • Must be able to travel within the United States as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
  • Must promote the company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • 2+ years working in data centers, operations or related technical field.
  • General knowledge of server/network equipment and software support configurations.
  • Basic understanding of AC/DC power principles, data center power distribution and data center best practices.
  • Strong aptitude for independent working environment and high productivity rate.
  • Must be able to act as the company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
  • Must possess proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
  • Must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
Pay Transparency  
The anticipated salary range for this position is $35 to $40 Per Hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
