Job Summary
As a SDR, you will play a crucial role in the Retail sales process by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, growing special order sales and developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers. Promoting, educating and showcasing products will be also part of your role.
You will work under the supervision of a ProWood Regional Sales Manager.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Sales
  • Generates new sales through stores Special Orders program and Contract sales.
    • Educates customer on products and solutions
  • Services and maintains positive relationships with the current customer base.
  • Generates new sales by introducing and promoting new products and services.
    • Drives Special Order Sales at the Pro Desk
    • Supports Pro Events
    • Supports Independent Lumber Yard Service- PKs, samples, lit, displays
  • CRM Management utilization and tracking
  • Visits customers in accordance with a proposed schedule and assist addressing customer concerns and problems.
  • Seeks prospective new accounts and customers to increase their sales volume.
  • Ensures adequate stocking levels of product and product literature POP materials are present and available for consumers.
  • Inspects product quality and monitor inventory levels.
  • Prepares various reports and correspondence as required
  • Performs other duties as required

Training
We will provide the necessary training for you to:
  • Generate sales based on company standards and expectations.
  • Negotiate with customers to grow sales.
  • Understand the importance of gross margin and the company's collection process.

  • Responsible and trustworthy to work under little supervision
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic

Qualifications
Work Experience, Certifications and Education
  • Minimum 1 years of work experience in customer service.
  • Experience utilizing basic sales technics and identifying sales leads.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of basic accounting and business concepts.
  • Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking.

Compensation & Benefit Information:
Salary Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on the customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.
