Physical therapists (PTs)evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities. U sing evidence-based practices to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations
  • Assess patient's movement patterns, strength, and range of motion
  • Diagnose physical impairments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Design and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation)
  • Educate patients on self-care strategies, home exercises, and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists
