Job description

Madsen Barr Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee underground utility and public works projects throughout South Florida.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, municipal coordination, field operations, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage water, sewer, and drainage construction projects

  • Coordinate with municipalities, inspectors, engineers, and utility repairs

  • Review plans, specifications, and contract documents at company and/or city meetings

  • Track project costs, schedules, and change orders using modern technology

  • Assist with estimating and bidding opportunities

  • Lead project meetings (weekly or monthly) and field coordination

  • Support safety and quality contral initiatives

  • Work closely with company leadership and field personnel

Requirements:

  • 5+ years construction project management experience

  • Utility, civil, or public works experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to read construction plans, specifications, and contracts

  • Experience with budgeting and scheduling

  • Valid Driver's License
