For over 47 years, we have built across Florida in hospitality, multi-family, industrial, healthcare, and public-sector work, with projects ranging from $5M to $160M. • Manage budget, schedule, plans, and specifications in Procore.
  • Read, understand, and administer owner contracts.
  • Deliver monthly cost projections and progress reports (baseline vs. actual, critical path).
  • Review and approve field cost expenditures.
  • Manage PCOs, CORs, change orders, CCAs, ACAs, direct material purchases, bonds, submittals, RFIs, and warranties.
  • Process owner and subcontractor pay applications on time.

Preconstruction & Buyout

  • Directly supervise Superintendent(s), APM, Project Administrator, trade partners, and vendors.

Closeout & Client Relationships
  • Follow all company procedures for project plan, job setup, maintenance, and closeout.
  • Close out the project financially and update accounting cost reports within 30 days of final inspection.
  • Conduct a warranty walk-through 10 months after substantial completion.
  • Maintain positive communication with the office, owner, architect, and inspectors, and perform warranty-period follow-up, with the goal that every client would build with HBC again and refer us.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial construction experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore.
  • Strong financial acumen, leadership, and owner-facing communication on complex projects.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
  • Split between active construction sites and an office environment; on site, may be exposed to weather, heat, noise, dust, fumes, and machinery.
  • Frequently stands, walks, and navigates jobsites including uneven terrain, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Periodically works at a desk and computer for extended stretches when documenting and reporting.
  • Occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, climbs, and balances.
  • Occasionally lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries up to 50 pounds; regularly up to 25 pounds.

WHAT WE OFFER
