What you will be doing
  • Diriger les controles du projet et assurer un travail de qualite, dans les delais, dans les limites du budget et a la satisfaction du client
  • Fournir une expertise en matiere de leadership et de controle de projet
  • Travailler en etroite collaboration avec le directeur de projet, le directeur commercial, le client, le sous-traitant et les autres parties prenantes du projet pour diriger avec succes tous les aspects des controles du projet tels que le controle des couts et la planification.
  • Developper et maintenir a jour des procedures de controle de projet pertinentes
  • Assumer la responsabilite du controle des couts, de la gestion de la valeur acquise et des rapports de projet
  • Surveiller les couts et preparer les rapports sur les couts selon les exigences du directeur de projet.
  • Etablir et administrer le controle des couts et les processus pour la coentreprise du projet
  • Examiner les ententes et les contrats de sous-traitance pour garantir le respect des exigences en matiere de couts, de planification ou d'audit.
  • Superviser la gestion de la planification et des ordonnancements
  • Participer aux evaluations commerciales, a l'analyse comparative des performances et a d'autres opportunites strategiques
  • Preparer des rapports mensuels selon les besoins pour informer et tenir a jour le client
  • Assurer la liaison avec les membres de la coentreprise et fournir des pieces justificatives ou des calendriers, selon les besoins.
  • Etablir et maintenir les budgets annuels et les previsions trimestrielles
  • Prendre en charge tout probleme lie aux assurances
  • Fournir des conseils techniques concernant le calendrier et le controle des couts au directeur de la construction et aux directeurs de segments.
  • Lead project controls for the project and ensure quality work, on time, on budget, and to the Client's satisfaction
  • Provides leadership and project controls expertise
  • Closely works with Project Director, Commercial Director, the Client, subcontractor and other project stakeholders to successfully lead all aspects of project controls such as cost control and scheduling
  • Develop and maintain relevant project controls procedures
  • Responsible for cost control, earned value management and project reporting
  • Monitor costs and prepare cost reporting as required by Project Director
  • Establish and administer cost control and processes for project Joint Venture (JV)
  • Review subcontracts agreements/contracts to ensure compliance with any cost and planning or audit requirements
  • Oversee planning and scheduling management
  • Assist in commercial reviews, performance benchmarking and other strategic opportunities
  • Prepare monthly reports as required to report and update the Client
  • Liaise with Joint Venture (JV) members and provide supporting documents or schedules as required
  • Establish and maintain annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Oversee any insurance issues
  • Provide technical guidance in relation to schedule and cost control to Construction Manager and Segment Construction Managers
What we are looking for
  • Etre titulaire d'un baccalaureat en genie civil ou autre discipline connexe
  • Avoir un minimum de 7 annees d'experience pertinente sur des projets de construction d'infrastructures civiles lourdes
  • Avoir une solide experience en gestion des couts et en production de rapports
  • La maitrise de la suite Microsoft Office
  • La maitrise de Primavera P6 sera consideree comme un atout
  • Avoir d'excellentes competences en communication ecrite et orale, en francais et en anglais
  • Avoir d'excellentes capacites de raisonnement quantitatif, analytique et deductif
  • Avoir d'excellentes competences organisationnelle
  • Avoir la capacite a gerer efficacement plusieurs priorites et delais
  • Avoir des competences averees en leadership pour gerer une equipe multidisciplinaire
  • Etre une personne orientee vers les resultats
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience on heavy civil infrastructure construction projects
  • Strong cost management and reporting background
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with Primavera P6 will be considered an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both, French and English
  • Excellent quantitative, analytic, and deductive reasoning capabilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Proven leadership skills to manage a multi-disciplinary team
