Job description

PdM TENCAP falls under Program Executive Office – Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) and chartered with the responsibility of executing the Army’s TENCAP program. Army TENCAP's mission is to enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence National capabilities and architectures. Army TENCAP conducts advanced development and rapid prototyping to enhance, inform, and modernize Army capabilities.

Lead the contract engineering team to develop and execute Systems Engineering processes within TENCAP including: prepare decision justification materials; prepare design studies to identify and address program/project capability gaps; prepare analysis of alternatives and recommendations for decision; prepare study results for presentation to leadership; develop and manage requirement baselines; address configuration and change management; prepare, present and evaluate technical reviews; execute risk, issue and opportunity management; coordinate with test and evaluation staff for execution of requirements verification and validation.

Qualifications:

Clearance Requirement:

Must have an active Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) security clearance.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of DoD or IC intelligence systems. Experience shall include a minimum of eight years in a systems engineering position working on DoD programs/projects. Experience shall include a
    minimum of five years in a systems engineering management position leading a technical team working on DoD or IC programs/projects.

Education/Certifications:

  • Master’s Degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science
    discipline.
  • Recommended: Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or Licensed Professional Engineer.
