What does a contract production supervisor do?

A Contract Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of production teams or manufacturing processes on a contract basis, rather than as a permanent employee. They are responsible for ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are met, often within tight deadlines. Their duties may include coordinating staff, managing resources, troubleshooting issues on the production line, and reporting progress to upper management. Contract Production Supervisors are typically hired for specific projects or periods, providing flexibility to employers and workers alike.
