Job description

Manufacturing Production Supervisor
Location: Ruther Glen, VA
Schedule: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday-Thursday (4x10s) with potential overtime
Pay rate: $36 -$42/hour
Overview
Join a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting production and assembly operations. In this role, you'll plan daily work, coordinate labor/materials, remove roadblocks, and partner with engineering and quality to hit safety, quality, and schedule targets-while developing a strong, consistent team.
What you'll do
  • Lead day-to-day production and assembly operations across multiple crews
  • Plan work, assign resources, and keep production moving to meet quality and schedule goals
  • Troubleshoot issues, remove barriers, and drive consistent workflow execution
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Project teams
  • Coach and develop team performance, consistency, and capability on the floor

What we're looking for
  • High School Diploma plus 8+ years of manufacturing/production experience
  • Prior experience as a foreman, lead, or supervisor
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving in a production setting
  • Preferred: experience in electrical assembly within a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and systems assembly methods

Physical & work requirements
  • Regularly lift/carry/move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Comfort working at heights up to 60 feet (ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks)
  • Frequent movement: walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching overhead
  • Good vision (corrected ok), color vision, and ability to communicate in English
